Sourcing
Stories are based on official announcements, documents, interviews and our own reporting. Where we rely on another outlet’s reporting, we say so and link to it.
Press releases
When an article is based on a manufacturer’s press release it is labelled “Press Release” and links to the original announcement.
Images
Manufacturer photography is used for editorial purposes only, is credited to its owner, and is published only where that manufacturer’s media terms allow it. It is never reused in advertising.
Independence
Advertisers and manufacturers do not review or approve our coverage before publication.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction on the article. Spotted an error? Tell us through the contact page.
