Ford Motor Company is recalling 11,623 Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid (2026-2027) and Lincoln Corsair Hybrid (2027) vehicles due to a transmission defect that can cause the vehicle to unexpectedly shift into neutral while driving. This issue is caused by corrosion in the transmission's park lock actuator circuit board.
If the vehicle shifts into neutral without warning, it can result in a sudden loss of drive power, which increases the risk of a crash.
What Ford is doing
Ford dealers will replace the Integrated Park Module (IPM) at no cost to owners. Ford plans to send interim notification letters to owners starting November 2, 2026, to inform them of the safety risk. Additional letters will be mailed once the repair is available.
