Mazda achieved its second-best October sales ever in the U.S., moving 31,446 vehicles, a 25 percent increase compared to October 2025. This surge reflects strong consumer interest in Mazda’s lineup, particularly the CX-90 MHEV and CX-50 ICE models, which posted their best and second-best October sales respectively.
The company’s year-to-date sales reached 341,714 vehicles, showing a slight decline compared to last year. However, with one more selling day in October this year compared to last, Mazda’s Daily Selling Rate (DSR) rose by 20.5 percent, indicating improved sales momentum on a per-day basis.
Sales performance across North America
Mazda’s Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle sales also grew, reaching 6,544 units in October, up nearly 6 percent from the previous year. This suggests sustained interest not only in new Mazdas but also in used models backed by the manufacturer.
Looking beyond the U.S., Mazda Canada reported a decrease in October sales, delivering 6,446 vehicles, down 5.4 percent from last year. Year-to-date Canadian sales also declined by over 11 percent. In contrast, Mazda’s Mexican operations saw a 12 percent increase in October sales with 10,436 vehicles sold, and a 6 percent rise year-to-date.
What it means for Mazda buyers
For shoppers considering a Mazda, the strong October sales highlight the popularity of Mazda’s SUV models, especially the CX-90 MHEV and CX-50 ICE. These models are clearly resonating with buyers looking for new vehicles this fall.
The growth in certified pre-owned sales also offers more options for buyers interested in Mazda vehicles with manufacturer-backed warranties and inspections, potentially providing peace of mind and value.
Next steps for buyers and owners
Mazda’s dealer network, spanning roughly 795 locations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Colombia, continues to support sales and customer service. Buyers can expect availability of popular models like the CX-90 MHEV and CX-50 ICE at dealerships nationwide.
With the holiday season approaching, Mazda’s sales momentum suggests dealers may offer competitive deals and incentives to keep the pace going through the end of the year.
