How BMW’s ChargingNetwork improves EV ownership
BMW’s integrated ChargingNetwork connects drivers to a growing number of public charging providers, totaling over 180,000 charging points nationwide. The network’s integration with the My BMW app allows users to easily locate stations, start charging sessions, and manage payments all in one place.
BMW is also a founding member of IONNA, a joint venture of leading automakers building a nationwide high-powered charging network. IONNA’s ultra-fast chargers deliver up to 400 kW and offer premium, well-equipped locations called Rechargeries.
What it means for you
If you’re considering a 2027 BMW electric vehicle like the i5, i7, or iX3, this charging credit package can reduce your public charging costs significantly during your first year of ownership. The combination of broad network access and discounts at IONNA stations makes charging more affordable and less of a hassle.
Enrolling through the My BMW app is straightforward, and the credits apply automatically, so you don’t have to worry about managing multiple accounts or payments. This package enhances the ownership experience by making public charging easier to find, use, and pay for.
BMW’s EV lineup will expand further in early 2027 with the U.S. Launch of the iX5 and i3, potentially increasing options for buyers who want to take advantage of these charging benefits.
